We’ll also take a look at how the 12th Man Foundation is building A&M Athletics into a national contender by exploring the more than $120 million worth of construction this summer around the Graham Athletic Complex, all made possible by 350 devoted Aggie donors.

Flying Higher & Healing Through Horses

This episode of AROUND TEXAS takes you behind the scenes of a Fightin’ Texas Aggie football game to witness the planning and precision that goes into the pre-game fly-overs performed by the U.S. military, and shows how the horses of the Texas A&M Parsons Mounted Cavalry are providing therapy and healing for our veterans and for children with physical, emotional, and cognitive issues through the Courtney Cares program.

Flying Higher

Flying Higher

Texas A&M has many traditions that make Kyle Field one of the best home field advantages in all of college athletics. The Corps of Cadets, Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band and 12th Man are the most visible representations, but the flyover performed by our United States military has become an important part of the pregame process. In this segment, we take you behind the scenes into the planning and precision behind what makes this iconic moment possible.

Healing Through Horses

Healing Through Horses

A group of horses from the stables of Texas A&M’s Corps of Cadets are improving the lives of children and veterans. Through a program called “Courtney Cares,” people struggling with physical, cognitive and emotional issues are seeing the positive effects of “equine therapy.” The horses – along with the staff from Courtney Cares and Texas A&M – have created a pathway to greater strength, confidence, and peace.
