Over a million acres of land burned in the Panhandle this year, making it the largest wildfire in Texas history. But the people of the panhandle are resilient, and with the help of everyone from Texas A&M Forest Service and TDEM, to the Vet School, AgriLife Extension, and Texas Task Force 1, their recovery has become a story of perseverance, grit, and renewal.
